In the Dnieper cluster, the irrigated land was increased at the expense of linear systems. Mykhailo Petrov, director of "Kernel" "Prydniprovsky Krai", said that the company purchased Zimmatic and Variant Irrigation linear machines.

"Including the latter, they were purchased in order to compare with foreign analogues. Variant Irrigation showed itself well. On the same level as American and Turkish manufacturers of irrigation equipment," noted Mykhailo Petrov.

The company has sunflower, corn, rapeseed and wheat seeds under irrigation. Mykhailo Petrov clarified that for the Kernel company, the new irrigation systems are primarily an expansion of the agricultural holding's seed business in Ukraine and independence from EU producers.
