Our company concluded a contract with the Kernel agricultural holding for the supply of two irrigation machines for the Dnipro cluster. The delivery of the 440 m long linear machines is expected in March 2022.

According to Mykhailo Petrov, the head of the Dnipro cluster, the irrigation implementation project at the "Kernel" company has existed since 2014, and today 2.2 thousand hectares have been allocated for irrigation.

He emphasizes that since the zone of risk-free agriculture has moved to the north of Ukraine, in the central part, where the lands of the Dnieper cluster are located, there is an opportunity to obtain a stable harvest only with guaranteed rainfall. The norm for corn and sunflower hybrids is 250 mm per year.

"Previously, we worked only with American manufacturers of irrigation machines. This year, we can see that the potential of a number of Ukrainian manufacturers is reaching the level of European and American companies. One such manufacturer is Variant Irrigation. We visited their new production facilities and a modern factory, so we believe that the machines produced by this company will be no worse, and maybe in some areas even better than their nearest competitors from the USA. That's why they gave the green light to a high-quality Ukrainian manufacturer," commented Mykhailo Petrov.

In turn, the owner of Variant Irrigation Daniil Shufani noted that the company has an individual approach to each customer, so they try to take into account all his wishes. So, specially for "Kernel" will be developed software that will help control the frontal irrigation system using the GPRS system.

"For Kernel, we make irrigation systems with completely new software, which is provided by only 2 American companies in the world. We will be the third and the first in Ukraine. We are grateful to "Kernel" that the company allowed us to conduct this experiment at its facilities. Today, many enterprises have a stereotype that everything Ukrainian is bad. But for more than 10 years, the trend has been completely different, and Ukrainian manufacturers can make products of much higher quality than foreign ones. The country's economy can grow only through joint efforts. Therefore, I believe that many companies will follow the example of "Kernel" and pay attention to the Ukrainian manufacturer," said Daniil Shufani.
