In March 2023, the first and only plant for the production of irrigation equipment in Romania will open in the municipality of Targu Jiu. At this stage, the enterprise will operate in a test mode, however, it is planned to reach maximum capacity in the next 2-3 months.

The main initiator and investor in the construction of the plant was VARIANT AGRO Ltd, which has been selling VARIANT IRRIGATION irrigation systems to Romanian farmers since 2019. It is expected that the new plant will supply irrigation equipment to all European countries. The expediency of building a plant in Romania, the company's management explains the high agricultural potential of the country, as well as a convenient location in terms of logistics.

That is why it became necessary to build another plant.
